She has just officially announced her verbal commitment to join the Rice University swim team in the fall of 2027, a decision made after a season of remarkable improvement. Anderson, a student at Keller High School, made a strong impression during the 2026-2026 season by consistently breaking personal records at major competitions. At Winter Juniors – West in December 2026, she finished 23rd in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.56 and 46th in the 200-yard breaststroke. However, the highlight was her performance at Sectionals in March 2026, where she set a new personal best in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:17.70, improving by more than 9 seconds from the previous season – a remarkable leap forward.
